MinIO AIStor
MinIO's current server, with links to its docs and the values this package needs.
Not tested with this package
Nothing on this page has been run against this package. AIStor serves the S3 API that the package uses. If you try it, an issue with what you found is welcome.
AIStor is MinIO's current object store. The community MinIO server is now source code only, and its repository points to AIStor instead. AIStor needs a MinIO license, and MinIO offers a free tier with limits; both are on MinIO's licenses page. Getting a license needs a MinIO account, so that step is yours.

What this package needs
The same as for the community server:
- The write key: a user whose policy allows
s3:GetObject,s3:PutObjectands3:DeleteObjecton the bucket's objects ands3:ListBucketon the bucket. - A public bucket: anonymous download on the bucket. A private bucket: a read user with only
s3:GetObjectands3:ListBucket. - Conditional PUT: not looked up in MinIO's docs.
- HTTPS, through AIStor's TLS or a proxy that passes the original
Hostheader through.
Settings
The S3 API listens on its own port, separate from the web console. Use the S3 API's address:
PREVIEW_S3_URL=https://<your server>/<bucket>
PREVIEW_S3_ACCESS_KEY_ID=<write key id>
PREVIEW_S3_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY=<write key secret>The app gets https://<your server>/<bucket>, plus the read key for a private bucket. Leave the
region at the default us-east-1 unless the server is set to another one.
What differs from the community server, as far as this package goes: nothing in the settings. The differences are in installing and licensing the server, which MinIO's pages cover.
Then run a test publish.
